Q: Where do I find my SeaPals’ secret code?
A: Inside your package you will find a scratch off code located near the top of the package and under the SeaPals logo. Scratch off this code with your fingernail or coin to reveal your code. Enter this code the first time you login or create an account. You will only have to enter this code once each time you purchase a new SeaPals’ character.
Q: How do I find what SeaPals’ characters are available?
A: Click on the SeaPals’ catalog button to check out all the SeaPals that are available at your local stores
Q: Is the SeaPalsWorld website free to use?
A: I am afraid not. You will need to first purchase a SeaPals plush toy from a local store or on the Internet.
Q: Is SeaPal’s Chat Safe?
A: Everyone here at SeaPalsWorld understands your concerns about the safety of your children. We have built a closed system that only allows a child to chat using pre-determined chat messages. There is no way for a child to type any messages directly, or to share any personal information with any users on the site.
Q: What is the age range for the SeaPalsWorld site?
A: The SeaPalsWorld site has been designed for ages 5-12+. We have designed the site to include content for all ages and computer skill levels within that age group. We understand that some of our games, activities and content may be difficult for younger users, but our experience has shown that the site can be enjoyed by our younger audience with the support and help of an adult.
Q: How does SeaPalsWorld promote education?
A: We constructed SeaPalsWorld from the ground up to help promote education and learning. Every sea animal that exists in the SeaPalsWorld universe has been based on real-life animals. Information such as their ocean behavior, size, feeding habits and interaction with other sea animals has been based on scientific research.
Also throughout the site we have tried to include scientific information to help teach a child about the ocean, the environment, and the importance the ocean plays in a child’s life.
Q: Can my SeaPal friend die?
A: No, your SeaPals’ friend cannot die. Part of the fun of the SeaPal’s site is to care for your SeaPals’ friend and maintain the virtual aquarium that they live in. The better you care for your SeaPals’ friend and the aquarium where they live, the better your SeaPals’s friend will do when they play games. Also, there are many secrets in the SeaPalWorld universe that will open up by keeping your SeaPals’ friend happy and healthy.
Q: What are Pearl Points and how do I earn them?
A: Pearl Points act as money in the SeaPalsWorld. You can use Pearl Points to purchase items for both your Virtual Aquarium as well as your SeaPad. Pearl Points are awarded by playing games throughout the SeaPalsWorld site. Also, sometimes you can find Pearl Points as you explore the various places in the SeaPalsWorld ocean. The more you explore, the more cool items you might find.
Q: What is my SeaPad?
A: The SeaPad acts as your SeaPals’ home under the ocean. You can decorate your SeaPad with all kinds of great items such as beds, chairs, rugs, lamps and more. Also, you can invite your buddies to visit your SeaPad and play games, chat and have sleepover parties. Each time you add a new SeaPal character to your account, you get a new room in your SeaPad for you to decorate. The more Seapals you own, the bigger your SeaPad gets!
Q: What is my virtual aquarium?
A: Your virtual aquarium acts just like a real aquarium. You need to make sure that you maintain good water quality, clean up algae, maintain proper lighting, as well as feed and care for your fish. This is a great area to check the health and happiness of all the SeaPals’ characters that are in your collection. One of the great features of the virtual aquarium is that you can decorate it with all kinds of amazing things. You can choose your gravel and backdrop. You can also purchase cool aquarium decorations using Pearl Points to create the perfect virtual aquarium.
Q: How do I decorate my virtual aquarium or my SeaPad?
A: Decorating both your virtual aquarium and your SeaPad is really easy. Easily drag pieces such as rocks or furniture from your inventory to either your aquarium or your SeaPad. If you want to remove an item, just click the item and then click the little X at the bottom of that item. You can move an item at anytime by clicking and dragging it around your SeaPad or aquarium. Also you can drag the item both to the front and back of your aquarium or SeaPad.
Remember, that some items you purchase with Pearl Points can be used ONLY in your SeaPad, and some items you purchase can ONLY be used in your virtual aquarium.
